Power Security Cables

There are several Power Security Cable products with multiple plug types to suit most customer's needs.  Using the table below, ensure you are selecting the appropriate power cable for your devices and receptacles.

C13: Female cable commonly used on computers, equipment, and some appliances

C14: Male cable/receptacle counterpart to the C13

C15: Female cable similar to the C13 Typically used in higher current and higher temperature applications.  Seen primarily on heavier duty computing and networking equipment, as well as some appliances with higher electrical demands. The notch provides a visual indication of the difference.  A C15 will fit in a C16 Male cable (not shown) as well as a C14 Male cable. However a C13 cable will not fit in a C16 Male cable/receptacle (because of the notch).

C19: Typically used in high voltage power distribution setups and equipment like enterprise servers and distribution switches and rack mounted power strips.

C20: Male cable/receptacle counterpart to the C19.

Standard Power Security Cables

Securing your assets is as easy as plugging them in. The Standard Power Security Cables include a lock on both the Wall Plate side and the Equipment side for use with a Security Cable Wall Plate and the included security slot on the device. If there isn't a security slot included on the device, Standard Power Security Cables along with a Security Cable Slot Adapter Kit can be used. Otherwise, the applicable Single Lock Power Cables along with the Security Cable Base Plate can be used.
