The Security Slot Adapter is 1.3" in diameter and .3" in height. It is attached via adhesive to any device that does not have a security slot. This allows a Standard Security Cable (lock on both sides of the cable) to be used. Security Slot Adapter Kit includes the adapter, cyanoacrylate glue (adhesives like Testor's Glue, Krazy Glue, or Super Glue), and alcohol pads to clean the surface prior to installation. For maximum adhesion, it is recommended to install this adapter with an epoxy-based adhesive (Standard JB Weld is an ideal choice) if the strongest possible bond is desired. If using JB Weld or equivalent, the mounting surface is best prepped with a light sanding with 220-320 grit sandpaper giving the epoxy the best surface to adhere to.
