Standard HDMI Security Cables

he Standard HDMI Security Cable includes two locks, one on each side of the cable.  Our Security Cables are intended to be asymmetric with a wall plate side (goes to our Security Cable Wall Plate) and an equipment side (goes to the device being secured). The primary difference is the length of the Cable Leader. For HDMI cables, the standard Cable Leader of the wall plate side is 3" and the standard length of Equipment Side is 6" (with different lengths available via special order).

All variants of the patent-pending HDMI Security Cable conform to the HDMI 2.1 specification, rated at 48 Gbps.  All cables support resolutions of 8K@60Hz, 4K@120Hz, and 2K@240z. All cables are CL3 rated and are Roku, PC, and HDTV compatible with gold-plated connectors for optimum data transmission and component longevity.

Cables from securecables.com are constructed with internal RF-shielding to minimize RF emanations and signal bleed.  See more about the cable components, cable section labeling, construction process and specifications, and shielding materials on the FAQ page.
